About Me

I am a qualified (BHSc Counselling) and registered counsellor through the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).

I’m an artist, a lover of nature and music (ranging from metal to rap). I am a wife and mum to three teenage boys (13, 17, 17 years). I have experienced many different ‘chapters’ in life, both here and overseas, and understand the lived experience of many issues that arise.

I am passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals, as learnt through parenting one. After experiencing the amazing work that mental health professionals offered my family during our journey to my son’s diagnosis, I retrained from marketing and business development to studying psychology and qualifying as a counsellor.

Alongside my private practice, I work three days a week with a community organisation (NGO), supporting children and women who have experienced domestic violence, as well as teenagers and women addressing the use of violence and seeking meaningful change. I have experience in both group facilitation and individual counselling support. I have also worked as a teacher’s aide for neurodivergent students and as a school counsellor for primary and intermediate years.

I am non-judgmental and ethically-driven. I bring good humour, warmth, and curiosity into our sessions.
